In 1975, Carlo’s journey took him all the way to Alberta, Canada, 7,736 km from home, where he fell in love with the small city of Edmonton. What was meant to be a short visit ended up in a five-year stay, where he explored all that Edmonton had to offer. At the young age of 21, he negotiated his first real estate deals.

Today Alberta 596 owns the historical MacLean Block and the prestigious Thompson Tower. The MacLean Block, which has been recognized by the Edmonton Historical Board, has been described as having some of the most elaborate and decorative brickwork in Edmonton. The Thompson Tower is known to be one of the most prestigious addresses in Edmonton, offering executive living as well as some of the most spectacular views available anywhere in the city of Edmonton.
